Appearance ;; Kevin has a naturally pale complexion and skin tone. Thanks in no small part to his mother, he is considered quite the attractive demigod, especially when he speaks. His build is quite athletic, due to his roman training, giving him a well cut physique, as he would say, his abs turned out the best. However, even with his muscular body structure, he still doesn't typically have an intimidating posture, aside from when he is angry or just serious. His eyes are typically a dark brown, that gradually turn a bright blue as his powers are used or the temperature lowers. (Making his eyes like strange thermometers) His hair is black in stark contrast to his skin tone, and is about shoulder length. When it comes to attire, he sticks mostly to comfort, and not a whole lot of clothing, at least over the upper body. Because his mother is the snow goddess, he doesn't like warmer temperatures, and as such, can be burning hot when everyone else is comfortable. When he is wearing shirts however, he usually wears either the camp t-shirt or just plain blue or black tanktops. He tends to wear plain cloth shorts as well, although he sometimes wears a tight pair of jeans.
Personality ;; Kevin is a rather inbetween person personality wise. His moods tend to shift at strange times, no doubt to his parentage being a wind goddess. He is the type who is often lost in thought, spending a lot of time thinking about anything and everything. He is a calm and calculating person, the majority of the time at least, and tends to think carefully before he speaks. The majority of the time that he doesn't think before speaking, his responses are rash and either don't make sense, or wind up getting him in trouble. Sometimes this is because its rude, sometimes its because he is expressing feelings he shouldn't be expressing. It all depends on the situation. He enjoys the company of others, but doesn't get a lot of respect from his fellow campers. Not because he can't hold his own in battle or anything of the sort, but because his godly parent is a goddess who is barely even considered a goddess. Very few ever even acknowledged her, let alone worshipped her. This didn't offend him much, as his mother never paid much if any attention to him his entire life. Even though he seems lost in thought often, he is a rather bubbly person, and tends to be happier than otherwise. He smiles often when in the company of someone he likes, and is a notorius flirt, especially to a particular person whom he has known since he arrived at camp. He doesn't fear much when it comes to enemies, but he does easily get nervous around women, especially when alone, and particularly when its a girl that he likes.
While typically a nice person, when angry, Kevin becomes far from it. He can become vicious, calculating, and for lack of a better word, cold. When battle ensues, he tends to put all thoughts, feelings, and everything of the like aside. He aims for the goal, and charges for it headlong, refusing to back down for any reason. He would always defend his friends to any means, regardless of what it took, even sacrificing his own life if necessary. He can be deadly in combat, particularly efficient with both spears and swords, and fights with cautious tactics at first, then once the style is understood, all out fury driven aggression. He still has a slight Irish accent, that becomes much thicker when he is angry.

History ;; William Caeld was born in Dublin ireland in the year 1965. He was a hard worker, doing every sort of manual labor he could to make enough money to feed himself and his young wife. However, in the year in 1993, after having been married for 8 years, his wife was killed in an accident. Grief stricken, he fled to the mountains, living as a hermit for a year. During his year in solititude, he once encountered a beautiful woman on a snowy peak. He couldn't explain her being there, for he had never seen another living soul on the mountain before then. He politely invited her to come back to his cabin, an invitation which she surprisingly accepted. When he saw her in the light, he saw how beautiful she was. Her skin was the color of snow, her hair the color of night. Her skin was flawless, and looked smooth and soft to the touch. She was by far the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. She seemed to shy away from the fire, and acted as though she were very nervous. She said she couldn't thank him enough for bringing her in. William found himself hopelessly in love at first sight.
She visited him multiple times over the course of the next year, where he would share stories of his childhood with her. It was amazing when she laughed. The air around her seemed to swirl, and grow colder. The cold never bothered him, in fact he liked cold weather. After many nights and many days, he didn't see her for about several months. He had virtually given up on ever seeing her again, and was again grief stricken. However, she finally arrived at his door one night in the year 1995, with an icy baby carriage, setting it on his doorstep. She explained that the child was their son, and that he would need to be watched after and taken care of. Her work prevented her from being able to do so, and she told him she wouldn't be able to see him much after this, if ever again. It broke his heart to watch her leave, but at least he had the child now. He wouldn't be so lonely again. He named the boy Kevin, giving him his first name as a middle name, sticking with his surname of course.
Taking care of Kevin became a full time job, and kept him from his lonliness, he was far too busy to be lonly for the first few years. He was thankful to have the child there with him, he had always wanted a child but never had such luck with his former wife. When Kevin was about 3 years old, he wandered off down a mountain path while William was sleeping. William awoke an hour later, in a panic as he looked for his sun. He went out searching for him, calling his name as loudly as he could. He found him sitting on a familiar peak, staring out at the world miles below. When he retrieved him, Kevin seemed happy and perfectly happy, in fact, the cold didn't seem to affect him at all. His eyes were also a very bright blue as opposed to their usual dark brown. He took him back, thankful that he was okay. It must have been some kind of miracle. But then, he had decided it was better to go somewhere else. A place where Kevin could become accustomed to people. The United States of America.
It was only a couple years later when William began to show signs of sickness. He was in the earliest stages of cancer, which would cause his death when Kevin was 9 years old. They arrived in California on a flight. He hadn't chosen a specific place, in fact he had just randomly dropped a marble onto a map of the united states, and it stopped directly on California, almost as if it had been forcibly stopped. He immediately found work as a dock worker, and continued to raise Kevin himself. As soon as he was age, he enrolled him in preschool. It was time for him to finally get some experience with people, and this seemed like a win-win, since he could learn there as well. Things were great for a long time, in fact, they had no major accidents until Kevin was 7. While in the second grade, Kevin had been being pushed around by a classmate who kept making fun of his accent. He sat quietly, just trying to let the insults go over his head until finally he couldn't take it anymore. The temperature around him plummeted, and ice began to form on the table he was sitting at until finally, his grip made it shatter, the entire table, broken into hundreds of shards of ice. This of course frightened everyone, himself included. He was suspended from the school, the mortals couldn't explain what had happened, but they immediately knew it was Kevin who caused it.
After enrolling him in a new school, William became panicked about what to do. What if something like this happened again? What was going on? He prayed to be able to talk to his mother again, that majestic woman he had fallen in love with. As if answering his prayers, there was a knock at the door, and there stood the woman he had loved those years ago. She explained who she was, a goddess of Rome, and that their son was a demigod, who would possess a great deal of power as he grew up, and that he needed to be safe. There was only one place that he would be safe, and where he could grow to be the champion that she knew he could be. Camp Jupiter. She instructed him to take him to a place called the Wolf House when he was ready, and everything would be fine from there, as long as he could handle it as she believed he could. Unfortunately, she also told him that as a Goddess, she wouldn't be allowed to see them much if at all. Oddly enough, William believed it all on the first attempt. It made so many pieces of the puzzle click together, and from then, he understood just how special his son really was.
It was then that the monsters first began to appear, almost always at school, sometimes disguised as students or faculty, and once one of them just smashed in through a wall. The mortals thought it was an accident with a wrecking ball, but kevin could clearly see a massive ogre looking creature with a tattoo of a heart on its left arm that said something he couldn't quite make out. He had fortunately managed to freeze it into a statue before it could get to him. He had kept summoning these powers without understanding how, but he was thankfully for them or he surely would have died. Upon arriving at home and having to switch schools again, his father finally buckled down and told him everything when he was about 9 years old. William had been looking the worse for wear this last year, until finally, he simply passed away. Before he died, he told Kevin of a place called the Wolf House, and where it was, and even gave him a small map explaining how to get there. He had managed to collect a small set of armaments that his mother had instructed him to get, a simple short sword and a small spear. So, Kevin, at the age of 9, set out to find the Wolf House.
Upon finding it, began his trials, a series of days, weeks, or months, he never was really certain, where he was pushed to the very bring, at points he almost snapped, at times he almost gave in, and at times, he was positive that he had almost died. However, his determination proved to be more than sufficient, as he passed the tests, and was allowed to join Camp Jupiter at the age of 10. He almost immediately fit into the camp. Although, his accent still gave him trouble at times, and of course, his shyness didn't help either. His ADHD seemed to get even worse upon being at the camp, it made him jittery if he sat still too long, so he spent a lot of time training. In fact, that was almost all he did in his free time. He ahd time to meet and befriend some of the people there, and this made him quite happy. He hated lonliness, in fact, it was one of his greatest fears, a feeling he no doubt inherited from his late father. He did well in the camp, making friends, allies, and unfortunately, enemies as well. He wasn't well liked by some of the students because of his shy personality, and sometimes because of his mood swings. But, he managed.
He has been at Camp Jupiter for about 7 years now, has the tattoo on his arm with the stripes as proof, and enjoys virtually every day at camp. He still trains for the majority of his down time, and it shows well in his physique. Many would find his stamina impressive, as well as his combat skills. His people skills still needed some work, especially when it came to women, no doubt due to his father as well. He was still nervous when it came to certain women, a particular one, really, that he felt a strong connection to, but, he supposed that was normal for a guy at his age. Now, he continues to strive to become better than he already is, and would do virtually anything to further his allies, and more importantly, to protect his family and friends.[/blockquote]
