Jason walked into the infirmary, surveying the dark place. He strolled over to the nearest light switch and flicked it on. Some of the overnight patients moaned as the sudden light awakened them. Jason paid them no mind. It was time for the infirmary to start working. Eight in the morning, the patients should have been up already. He told everyone he was having a patient in right away and that he wouldn't be able to make his normal rounds until later. The patient he would be seeing this morning was none other then Mr. Monotone himself, Edmund. Jason couldn't hide the smirk on his face as he dug out the kids medical file, which was a bit anorexic compared to other campers. He had a hunch that this kid, who he had almost gotten into a fight with, was not a fan of the infirmary. He checked the date of his last check up. His eyes grew wide. Every camper was suppose to have a half-yearly check up. Edmund hadn't been into the infirmary since he first arrived. Great, this meant more work for Jason to do.
The main reason Jason was forcing, no exaggeration on that term either, Edmund to come into the infirmary was because he had a theory that every time he was transformed into an animal, seven or eight times now, his organs grew smaller. Of course, when he changed back into a human they grew back. Yet this would cause damage at the sudden rate they are forced to return to. He had to do a full analysis and x-ray on Ed. Then, he also had to do the routinely check-up all campers had to have. This was going to be a long morning.
Jason got together the equipment he would be needing. Some nectar and ambrosia was placed out just in case. Other then that the patient room had a cushioned table with paper covering. On the wall beside the bed held the normal instruments seen in a doctor room. Blood pressure monitor, ear scope, stethoscope, etc. He would have to take Ed to a different room for all the other test to see his organs and bones. A place that keeps the radiation down more. A lot of theses stuff use to not exist in the infirmary. It was more medieval style. Once Jason got here he took money from his personal account and adapted it to the twenty-first century. A lot more hygienic and safer methods. Everything was state of the art. The infirmary, after all, was Jasons baby. He walked over to the desk right near the front door and waited for his patient.
