Appearance ;;[/color] Tumnus stands at five feet seven inches. He has dark colored curly hair, which is more commonly found unkempt. He tends to stay shirtless around camp, though he does keep on his favorite red scarf, which holds personal value to him, no matter the season. He has dark brown curly fur along his butt and legs. As you follow down his fury, lower half you will be met with black as coal shining polished hooves. He polishes them twice a week to make sure they have a nice glint on them. He has two horns that pop out of his head that are a nice pearly white. His ears stick out on the sides of his head, making it an easy target for people to give him wet willies. He has white skin, which has a nice tan about it. He has some facial hair, a short trimmed two-part beard, it’s his unique quality. Overall he is just a normal looking, run of a mill, faun.
Personality ;;[/color] Mr. Tumnus always has a smile that lights up his face. However, he is never outgoing. He is shy and timid. How on Earth he got a fiancée is a mystery to everyone. He is also scared of just about everything. He will not walk alone at night. He never eats any food unless it has been pre-approved by the Food and Drug Administration. It also took him twenty years until he finally moved out of his parent’s house. However, once you are passed the shy and scared side of Tumnus you will meet a very happy faun. He enjoys playing the lute whenever he gets the chance; some say he is the most musical faun at camp. He likes to dance and play with his friends. Of course, he has very few friends, as most cannot get used to Tumnus constantly trying to be safe. He is afraid to hurt himself and will never put himself in danger, unless it was to protect Sakura. Speaking of Sakura, Tumnus is a huge romantic. He used to never be able to talk to females; he actually still has that problem. Sakura talked to him first. However, once he entered the dating game he would make sure his love would be the happiest possible, even going out of his way to make sure that happened. Unlike most Roman fauns, Tumnus does not steal or lie. In fact, he is the most timid of them all. He would be confronted with a scandal and he would break into tears and tell who the culprit is. He becomes a snitch easily, which might be why he has very few friends too. However, even though he is a tough nugget to love, he is worth it for he makes a great friend.

History ;;[/color] Tarzan was a normal average run of the mill faun who happened to catch the eye of the most attractive female faun in all of North America. Her name was Lindia. Tarzan pushed up all his bravery and asked the female out. To his surprise, Lindia said yes. After three years of dating Tarzan asked Lindia to be his wife. She said yes. The spring after they had their wedding, they welcomed a young baby boy faun to the world and named him Tumnus. The Cherrygrove family was a happy one. Two years after Tumnus birth, they moved into Camp Jupiter. Tumnus got to watch the training of the demigods and legacies. He was always curious about them. However, no one ever wanted to get to know him, they all claimed fauns were annoying and ignorant. All those snide comments made Tumnus retreat from getting to know people. He became shy and very timid. His parents thought something was wrong with their boy; however, no prodding was able to get him to open up or be more trusting.
In Tumnus teenage years, he became distant from associating with people or fauns. Whenever he was confronted with the new recent faun scandal he would burst into tears and tell the people in charge exactly who did it. Needless to say, he did not get many friends because of that. He soon decided that instead of friends he would associate himself with music. Fauns naturally had a knack with playing the lute; however, most fauns did not try to enhance their skill. Tumnus spend many years rounding the edges on his musical ability. He would be invited to perform at events around camp. Hence, how he became known all around as Mr. Tumnus. He did not go by Mr. CherryGrove because his parents did not approve of his musical ability. They wanted to have a brave faun of a son who would travel and make himself well known. It was an unfortunate case then when Tumnus continued leaving with his parents. Finally, he was kicked out and forced to move into a place of his own.
However, his place happened to be by a Cherry tree. He adored the tree and made sure it was well kept. He watered it and protected it from the elements. There were rumors that a nymph lived in the tree, however, Tumnus never say one and just continued to take care of it as he always had. One day in spring, when Tumnus was twenty-two a nymph appeared from it. She was the most adorable creature he had ever seen. She made herself well known around New Rome too. She was adorable. Within that same year, Tumnus put all his courage into asking the nymph out. To his astonishment, she said yes. Finally, his parents were proud of him for something. Tumnus spent the next three years trying to make Sakura, who was the nymph as happy as she could be. He kept protecting her tree, since that was her source of living. She told him her story. How she was asleep for a very long time because she was out of place in Camp. Finally, after his tender care she was able to reawaken. Tumnus was extremely happy with Sakura. He even managed to gain a few friends during this time of happiness. However, he was still very timid.
He would be teased for wearing pillows whenever he would take part in a physical contact game, or whenever he would yell at a market vendor for noticing that the shipment did not have the FDA approved sticker. Tumnus was indeed known as a weird faun. Luckily, his love for Sakura and his musical talents made him known in camp so he did not end up as a hermit. Just recently, Tumnus asked Sakura to marry him and he was excited when she said yes. He acted very unlike himself for a week due to the excitement. He said hello to random strangers and greeted everyone with a huge smile plastered on his face. Some say this girl was the best thing that ever happened to Tumnus. Only time will tell if they will truly last forever. Tumnus keeps hoping and has even tried to socialize more while still striving to become the best lute played Camp Jupiter and New Rome has ever seen.
