Appearance::
Being a descendent of Venus, Maddi clearly isn't lacking in the looks department. She has always been a very pretty girl, with her looks turning boys' heads on a daily basis. Even without makeup her skin is normally flawless. Not to say she doesn't love her makeup though. Normally she will just stick to a swipe of mascara and a smooth coat of lip gloss or lipstick however. She firmly believes that too much makeup on a normal day says 'tramp' on principle, but too little says you just don't care enough about your appearance.
Standing at 5'7", she isn't a very tall girl, but she isn't exactly short either. Surprisingly for a descendent of Venus, she also has a very athletic build, including very muscular arms for archery (which she actually excels at). While she doesn't like to break a sweat, she knows how important exercise is to keeping her figure the way she likes it.
Maddison has smooth blonde hair that cuts off a couple inches below her shoulders. It's naturally curly and she normally leaves it that way to avoid any damage inflicted by styling, but occasionally she will take the time to straighten it out. Not too often though..After all she has to keep that hair soft and shiny. Because soft, healthy hair, is shiny, happy hair (yea..she's definitely related to Cam...).
As for her face, she takes very good care of that as well, only the best products to keep her skin soft and smooth. Her teeth are always brushed, white and minty fresh as well (got to love that Aim toothpaste). Lastly there are her eyes, which are a deep, chocolate brown that almost appear a black color. Perhaps they're that dark color to match her soul?
Apparel-wise, Mads is always knowledgeable in the latest styles and fashions. That doesn't mean she always follows the trends, or fads, however. Just because some fashion guru in a magazine says something's 'cute' doesn't mean that Maddi's inner Aphrodite side agrees. She picks out her own clothing based on personal taste, which varies from day to day. She likes to keep her attire fresh, always switching between skirts, and skinny jeans, capris and dresses, and so and so forth. As for shoes, she prefers a nice set of high heels or a pair of cute flats.

There's no better word to describe Maddison than that pretty little swear word. It doesn't even offend her when someone calls her that, because well the truth is the truth, why deny it? She has always had a bratty side to her, but over time (and over a series of incidences), it became even more magnified and now it's come to the point where almost no one can even stand being around her. She flings out insults left and right, sometimes not even knowing she's doing it because it's simply become habit for her. Maddi isn't interested in making friends so she tells it like she sees it, and she doesn't sugarcoat it (if anything, she just makes it even harsher than it has to be).

Being a descendent of Venus, it's natural for Maddi to think highly of herself. She isn't naive enough to believe that every single thing about her is amazing (for example, she knows her personality isn't exactly a dream), but she certainly believes that most things about her are pretty impressive. Her appearance, especially, is something that she is very proud of (not surprising). She's a pretty girl, and she is always reminding people of that little fact. Her motto ;; If you have it, why not flaunt it?

Maddison may have be claimed by Venus, but she's still related to Nemesis as well, and people really shouldn't forget that. People simply assume that because Venus claimed her, that means she’s completely useless and she’s afraid to do anything that might cause her to break a nail. However, when it comes to it, hell hath no fury like this girl scorned. Just like her father and her grandmother, she’s favorable to taking revenge on someone when they tick her off. And when she’s on one of her nasty revenge streaks, you better look out, because it won’t be pretty for the person who gets in her way.

While Maddison is indeed a hardcore brat, she's still a descendent of Venus and as such, she likes to have her fun with the boys. She has standards for the boys she actually wastes her time flirting with though, and they are very high standards indeed. When she finds someone she deems worthy though, her flirting is absolutely shameless. However, sometimes her standards are disregarded simply because she needs something from a naive boy, or even because she just wants someone to drool over her for a moment.

Besides her beauty, Mads' favorite gift from her grandmother is her ability to charmspeak. It is quite a useful ability, and she is actually very talented at it. With the power that she holds, Maddison can convince someone to do just about whatever she wants. Surprisingly enough, she doesn't abuse it terribly. She does use it for a quite a few silly, irrelevant things, but she never uses it for anything that would be deemed drastic or extremely unfair.

Now this one may sound like an odd one, but when Maddi takes a liking to someone (which is very rare), she can actually be a decent person. Obviously she doesn't just come right out of her b*tchy shell, but she is certainly much more tolerable. She is also extremely loyal to her one or two friends. And that is really beneficial to them, because Maddison Petroski is a good person to have on your side when it comes down to it. She might be a b*tch, but when you're in trouble, that's a good thing, because she'll do practically anything for you.

Amanda Reynolds was a young spoiled daughter of Aphrodite when she met Bryce Petroski, one of Nemesis’ kids, at the Legion. Unsurprisingly-with their parents-each of them had quite the attitude problems. Neither of them were very positive or kind to others, so they were a perfect match. Or they were at first at least. They even seemed so perfect for a little while that they managed to stand in front of their friends and families and vow to love one another forever. Together they purchased a house just outside of where the legion was located so they could visit daily.
Not long after their wedding, Amanda learned that she was carrying their first child. After this first child, Daniel, was born, problems started to arise. The pregnancy had softened Amanda in some aspects and she wanted to raise Daniel in a more positive way and environment. Bryce, however, wasn’t very enthusiastic about changing his cynical ways so the two started to bicker frequently even over the littlest things. They stayed together though, and within another two years they had another child, this time it was little Maddison.
Maddison didn’t grow up in the best or most loving environment. Her parents were constantly fighting and yelling, and that was very influential on Maddi’s personality. It made her bitter because bitterness was all around her, and it was all she ever heard. There were few positive things said in the Petroski household so Maddison didn’t feel very positive about much. The only time she looked genuinely happy and cheerful was when she was out playing with her big brother Daniel. Even as little kids, she looked up to her brother and always insisted on tagging along after him. He didn’t seem to mind much though, in fact, he even seemed pleased by the fact that Maddison looked up to him as a role model.
Sadly though for Maddison, Daniel did have to start his training at the Legion when she was six. After starting training at the Legion, Daniel became more distant and cold. Anymore he just became annoyed whenever he had to deal with Maddison because he thought he had better things to do with his time. Maddi certainly wasn’t excited about this, but the slight annoyance and disappointment faded away with the birth of her new little baby brother Mason.
She was only eight when Mason was born, but she still adored him. She took care of him and looked after him just like Daniel had done for her when she was little. Maddi gave Mason her full attention until she was ten, when her parents finally realized that time was running out for them to send her to see Lupa. And so they sent her off to the wolfhouse.
At first Lupa saw nothing special in the little girl. As far as the wolf was concerned, Maddison was just another spoiled, bratty descendent of Venus. It was when Lupa was about to deny her access to joining the Legion that Maddison showed her how she be of use. Mads had a sheer sort of determination to get into the Legion, though it was probably only fueled by the fact that she didn’t want to be a disappointment to her brother Daniel (one of the only people she actually liked in the world). It was that determination, however, that actually got her into the Legion. Well that and her high skill in charmspeaking didn’t exactly hurt her chances of acceptance either.
So after a couple weeks of vigorous training, she was sent back off to the Legion by Lupa. Almost needless to say, Maddi was proud of herself, but at the same time, she still wasn’t excited about training at Legion. She didn’t like sweating from all the hard work, she didn’t like that everything was planned out for a day, and she really did not like the people there (though she hardly any people at all). However she did manage to slip off and see her little brother every once and a while so that did cheer her up significantly.
The next few years of Maddi's life passed by with few significant events..and the only 'significant' events that did occur were one or two catfights she'd accidentally started. Well and there was talk of her parents divorcing at one one or another, but they ended up staying together for Mason. Though Daniel and Maddison both agreed that at least if they had gotten divorced there would have been less b*tching and yelling so that really would have been better for everyone.
For the most part, her life was peaceful and tolerable until the war with the Titans. That was about when everything went downhill for her. Her other brother Mason was training at the Legion by that point, and with the oncoming war Maddi was extremely concerned. Mason was only nine, but he was grumbling about he wanted to fight anyways. He wanted his brother Daniel to be proud of him, just like what Maddi had used to want. Daniel was becoming more and more distant though, and when he did talk to either of them it was more yelling than actual talking.
It wasn't long after that they discovered the reason for this. Turned out that Daniel had been working on the Titan side for the entirety of the war. No one could ever figure out why, but it was quite clear he wanted nothing to do with the Legion or the gods. While Maddi did take his betrayal hard, Mason took it even harder. Perhaps because he was still a child and it was hard for him to comprehend. The only thing he knew was that he wanted to make his brother proud any way he could so when the final war came, instead of staying with Maddi and the rest of Legion, he chose to switch sides.
With both of her brothers on the opposing side, Maddison felt an extreme sense of abandonment and betrayal. She almost even jumped ship to the other side as well, but she ended up remaining loyal to the Legion and fighting her hardest (even though that eventually caused her shirt to get stained with sweat and blood, ew). Even though it practically tore her apart inside, seeing as both of her brothers ended up meeting their ends during the battle.
Bratty was the correct word to describe her before the war, but after was when she really became a Class A B*tch. For the next two years, Maddi only ever took to interacting with people when she was insulting them or just yelling at them. That clearly hasn't changed any now, even with Elijah's prophecy. To be honest, Maddison isn't all that scared by the idea of the prophecy. She doesn't believe she has anything left to lose so she doesn't feel the need to worry about it.
