Appearance ;;[/color] Lucian is five feet eleven inches tall with fair skin that has a slight glow to it, and hopes that he grows more soon. He had a toned, wiry yet athletic build and loves to show off his abs whenever possible. He has an oval face that encompasses his brilliant blue eyes and a winning smile that could light up a room, which can pass as innocent or mischievous at times. He has dirty blond hair that likes to stay in place and he’s glad he doesn’t have to fuss with it too much unless he wants to. Lucian’s style is quite unique and he likes to accessorize but not to too much of an extreme. He’s smaller then his fraternal twin brother and people often are surprised to discover they are twins at all since they look so different; one of the few things that they share is the same fair skin and blue eyes.
Personality ;;[/color] In a way Lucian can be a bit lazy and try to convince others to do things for him. Being smaller then his older twin brother he tends to let his brother take point when they are in battle or a fight together. Lucian is a great archer like his mother and grandfather as well. Lucian is of the curious nature. He’ll do something just to appease his curiosity even if it isn’t the greatest idea. He dreams of going on a quest and seeing the world outside of camp Jupiter and new Rome, besides just guard duty. He takes equally after his mother and father at times. He’s fairly persuasive when he puts his mind too it and can be good at making fair deals and haggling. But in reality he takes more after Mercury then Apollo.
Although Lucian is fairly lazy he doesn’t like to just lounge around. He’ll put things off for as long as he can but has a hard time focusing on just one thing. He’ll start a bunch of projects at the same time and never get them all finished as he ran out of time, forgot about them or got bored. Compared to his twin brother he has a bit more of a submissive personality and isn’t the type to step into a leadership type of role. He isn’t the type to blindly follow orders though and it has gotten him into trouble. Lucian when he plays a prank or steals acts innocent and flashes a winning smile. Lucian can be quite playful when he wants to be but only on his own terms, but knows usually when he has to be serious. He enjoys being on the move and is someone you can count on in a pinch despite his laziness. He’s light on his feet and agile as well.He’s also a bit of a chatter box.

Photokinesis- Lucian has a natural glow about him but he can channel that glow to create light effect with a little extra effort, and also make small fireworks with it but it takes a lot of effort on his part, and a lot of practice
Quick on his feet- Due to his father’s patonage, Lucian is very light on his feet and athletic, he could easy give an Olympic gold medalist in running a ‘run for his money’. While not as fast as true mercury children Lucian is quite agile.
Theft – Lucian also gets this from his father’s side. Lucian has sticky fingers and is a bit of a thief.
Sing me a song- Lucian has power in his voice, he has a slight musical quality to his words in the way he speaks and if he’s lucky if he sings a healing song to his grandfather Apollo he can heal minor cuts and scrapes

History ;;[/color] Lucian’s origin story starts with his father Drake Steelwater, son of Mercury and his best friend Darryl Blake, son of Mars. These two were in the same cohort and were the best of friends, thick as thieves and even ‘blood brothers’. They grew up together and trusted each other with each other’s lives. But they both had a crush on Alicia Burns, daughter of Apollo. They were in competition with each other as they courted her trying to win over her affection, pushing their friendship to dangerous limits. In the end Drake won out. But when Alicia turned up pregnant she told the boys she wasn’t sure whom the father was as she had previously slept with both of them.
Both boys were angered but still stepped up to the plate to accept responsibility especially when it was discovered she was going to be having twins. Both boys secretly separately wanted to be the father but had promised to stick around and help no matter who was determined the father of the children. When the twins were born, two boys, Louis and Lucian, they were shocked to discover that they were both the fathers of the boys. Louis who was born first twelve whole minutes before his fraternal twin brother Lucian, looked a lot like Darryl, and Lucian looked like Drake. After the boys were born and this was discovered Darryl moved in with Drake and Alicia to be close to his son.
It was a strange living situation having Drake’s best friend living with him and his wife and the fact that they had fought over her affection. But things actually worked out rather well for the boys to have two ‘fathers’. As the boys grew older it confirmed that Louis took after Darryl his father and although Lucian embraced both of his patronage.
Growing up Louis always was protecting Lucian. Lucian was smaller and slightly more fragile then Louis was and he had a knack for getting into sticky situations that he couldn’t always talk his way out of. To say he was a bit sheltered would be a slight understatement.
When they were ten they were sent to camp and thankfully for both of them were put in the same cohort. Louis thrived at camp in the war games and weapon training while Lucian struggled. Louis was always there for his twin brother though helping him anyway he could, as he had always done.
Lucian was always the curious one who although was born and grew up for the most part in New Rome always wondered what lay outside the protective borders and wanted to see for himself.
